EPC/Design-Build: Intrepid General Limited can provide turnkey Engineer/Procure/Construct solutions for many projects, or “Design-Build” solutions as they are commonly called. We can work under the terms of stipulated price contracts, management arrangements, or cost plus contracts. Intrepid is regularly engaged to provide this service wherein an Owner knows the basic outline of their needs, but requires it to be integrated against various constraints. This may range from a design-build of an office space to implementation of large industrial processes within an existing facility.

Cost and Feasibility Consulting: Our decades of construction experience can be leveraged to rapidly provide baseline budgetary, scheduling and feasibility information for a variety of projects. As well, we are often engaged to brainstorm with client and consultant partners to determine the constructibility of projects.

Construction and Project Management: Intrepid can provide the administration and infrastructure to properly manage all types of construction projects, including site supervision, and support infrastructure for all values of projects – large and small. Typically, these projects can range from small commercial projects, to complex and technical industrial and institutional projects.

Leaseback and Development: For certain clients, Intrepid can enter into Leaseback agreements or undertake developments of various types.

Large industrial clients want their projects built properly, with a minimum life cycle cost.  Intrepid has constructed hundreds of thousands of square feet of new industrial facilities and expansions/additions, loading docks, crane bays, retrofits, etc.  Our ability to self-perform many of the necessary scopes ensures we are able to maintain and exceed project schedules and cost requirements.

In terms of machine foundations, these projects range from large scale turbine and boiler foundations, to foundations for some of the largest stamping presses in Canada, to small milling machine foundations, as well as imaging and measurement suite foundations.  Many of these have occurred within existing operating facilities with little to no downtown to the surrounding processes.  We are able to supply design-build packages for these projects as well, inclusive of engineering, vibration damping materials, epoxy and cement grouting, etc.

Our Industrial capabilities includes complete maintenance and service capabilities of industrial facilities, shutdown projects, floor, masonry, cladding and general building repairs, as well as office renovations and measurement suits.  Our clients range from private corporations to publicly traded international corporations.

Intrepid General Limited is used to working on highly specified and architectural projects, and we ensure that our forces and subtrades strictly adhere to the requirements of drawings and specifications.  Our experience with this style of construction can be leveraged in EPC or Design-Build arrangements to provide our clients with rapid turnkey design and construction of their own commercial facilities.   Intrepid can also be counted on to provide general building and property maintenance and management, facility renovations, additions and repairs.

Intrepid engages in the construction, leasing, and property management of commercial properties for some of its clients and can be contracted to undertake such services for preferred clients.
